Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Key West 33040

We are seeking registered nurses (RNs) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes in the Key West area. This is a per diem position offering flexibility through intermittent visits, private duty shifts, and care plan coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing visits including wound care, IV administration, medication management, and patient assessments
• Carry out shift-based care for patients needing extended clinical support
• Monitor and document patient condition and progress
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to update care plans
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA
• Uphold infection control standards and agency protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid Florida RN license
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) card
• Florida-required continuing education units (CEUs)
• Physical health form completed within the last 6 months
• Negative TB skin test results, chest X-ray, or Quantiferon-TB Gold blood test results (QFT-Plus)
• Level 2 background clearance verified through ACHA
• Clear English communication
• Good driving record
• Reliable transportation with proof of current car insurance
