Registered Nurse (RN) Lead : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Lead for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in San Luis Obispo, California. This is a 13-week contract position that frequently extends. You will provide leadership and direct patient care in a specialized neonatal setting, working with critically ill newborns and their families.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Previous Charge RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification
• Clean background check

Schedule

• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• No set day/rotating schedule
• No call required; on-call is voluntary only

Compensation

• $62.12 to $64.12 per hour
• Taxable and non-taxable compensation breakdown available upon discussion
