Registered Nurse (RN) - IV Infusion (58795)

Interim HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized infusion therapy services in patients' homes in the Greenfield and Oak Creek, Wisconsin area. This role focuses on administering specialty medications and intravenous antibiotics while delivering exceptional patient care in a home health setting.

Clinical Setting

You will provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases, often following discharge from a hospital, rehabilitation facility, or nursing facility. Your work will take place in patients' homes within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Administer specialty infusion medications and IV antibiotic therapies in patients' homes
• Perform vascular access procedures, including peripheral IV insertion
• Access and manage implanted ports, PICC lines, and other central venous catheters
• Monitor patients during infusions and assess for adverse reactions or complications
• Examine patients, perform assessments, document progress, and report changes to their physician
• Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, infusion therapy, catheter care, and the plan of care
• Coach family members on the patient's plan of care, medication, and home safety
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
• Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous IV infusion experience required
• Proficiency with peripheral IV starts, port access, and central line management
• Current BLS certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes within the assigned territory
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $50.00–$60.00 per hour
