Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

This position offers an opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced intensive care environment. You will work as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at a healthcare facility in Greeley, Colorado, caring for patients with varying acuity levels including cardiac, medical/surgical, and progressive care unit patients.

Clinical Setting

You will be based at BFC and may float to other PCU/ICU units at NCMC or Loveland campus as needed. The unit serves mixed acuity patients, requiring flexibility and broad clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac and medical/surgical patients in ICU and PCU settings
• Monitor and manage patients across acuity levels, including up to 6 medical/surgical level patients
• Read and monitor cardiac telemetry
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Proficiency in caring for cardiac and medical/surgical patients in both PCU and ICU settings
• Ability to read and monitor telemetry
• Willingness to float to other PCU/ICU units as needed
• Willingness to accept up to 6 medical/surgical level patients in a mixed acuity unit

Schedule

• Assignment length: 13 weeks with possible extension
• 36 hours per week
• 3 twelve-hour shifts
• Shift time: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation

Compensation

• Local pay: $63.23 per hour
• Travel pay estimate: $2,247.12 per week
