Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health and Palliative Care -Santa Barbara

Central Coast Home Health is seeking full-time or part-time (3 days per week) Registered Nurses to deliver home health and palliative care services in the Santa Barbara area, including Goleta to Carpinteria. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time field clinicians.

Home Health Nurses deliver high-quality care to patients in their own home environment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to address all patient needs, developing relationships, and ensuring continuity of care. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, managing your own caseload and making your own work schedule.

Palliative Care Nurses care for patients with life-limiting diseases who are still seeking curative treatments and interventions. The focus is on symptom management, advance directives and end-of-life decisions, and education regarding disease processes. Palliative Care Nurses work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, spiritual counselors, and physical, speech, and occupational therapists. By seeing patients in their homes, you develop meaningful relationships, answer questions, and assess the needs of patients and families on psychosocial, physical, and spiritual levels.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 4 or 5 day work week
• Generally 8 AM to 5 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• At least one year of professional nursing work experience
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider)
• Reliable vehicle for work
• Current driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Current auto insurance coverage

Preferred Qualifications

• Home Health experience

Compensation

This position is paid by the visit. Compensation varies based on visit type, experience, location, and years of experience:

• Routine visits: $54.00 to $65.00 per visit
• Evaluations: $92.00 to $110.50 per visit
• Admissions: $162.00 to $195.00 per visit
