Guggenheimer Health and Rehab Center is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. Clinical Setting

You will work in a skilled nursing and long-term care facility serving seniors. The center emphasizes resident-centered care, family engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and state, federal, and local guidelines
  • Plan nursing interventions based on individual resident needs and monitor implementation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends, and develop alternative interventions
  • Conduct family and resident education
  • Administer medications and treatments timely and according to center policy
  • Transcribe physician orders and chart progress notes in an informative, factual manner reflecting care administered and resident response
  • Identify and report changes in resident condition to supervisor, physician, and family
  • Accurately identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols
  • Order and report diagnostic tests timely
  • Follow pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications
  • Coordinate resident rehabilitation programs with therapists to ensure rehabilitation needs are met
  • Monitor that CNA documentation is completed daily
  • Ensure CNA assignments are completed on time
  • Perform additional nursing care responsibilities as required by state nurse practice act

Schedule and Shifts

Multiple employment types are available: full-time, part-time, and per diem. Shifts include days, nights, and weekends. Specific shift times are 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 7:00 am. Scheduling offers predictability and flexibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Active state RN license
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 25 or more pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periods
  • Team player and strong communicator

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
  • Passion for senior care

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $39 to $44.59 per hour, plus shift differentials as applicable
