REGISTERED NURSE (RN) FT NIGHTS

AMG Specialty Hospital - Northwest Indiana is a Long-Term Acute Care hospital seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for night shifts. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to patients with complex medical needs in a long-term acute care setting. You will communicate with physicians, case care officers, and co-workers about changes in patients' clinical conditions, respond quickly to changes in patient status or response to treatment, and perform general nursing duties across departments with appropriate supervision. The hospital maintains a high staff-to-patient ratio to ensure individualized attention and employs a multidisciplinary approach to return patients to their optimal level of well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting
• Communicate with physicians, case care officers, and co-workers about changes in patient clinical condition, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU, LTAC, Critical Care, or Post-Acute experience
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
