Registered Nurse (RN) for School Nurse, Field Trips & Bus Rides.

Interim HealthCare is seeking per diem Registered Nurses to provide 1:1 care for special needs children during school transportation and school nursing assignments within the New Brunswick School District. This role offers flexible scheduling with opportunities to work morning bus rides, afternoon bus rides, or both, as well as field trip and substitute school nursing positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to special needs children during school bus transportation
• Work substitute school nurse assignments covering school nurse offices for full days (6-7 hours)
• Accompany students on field trips as assigned
• Monitor and respond to student health and safety needs during transportation and school activities

Schedule and Compensation

• Per diem positions with flexible scheduling
• Choose to work morning rides, afternoon rides, or both
• Work 1 day per week or up to 5 days per week
• Bus assignments guarantee a minimum of 2 hours pay regardless of actual ride duration
• Field trip and substitute school nursing positions paid at hourly rates
• Weekly payroll by direct deposit

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR certification
• Pediatric experience required
• Reliable transportation
• 1 or more years of experience in skilled care preferred
