Registered Nurse RN Float Pool ICU and PCU

Trinity Health St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor is hiring Registered Nurses for the Nursing Resource Pool to float between ICU and PCU units on night shift. This is a full-time position at a 537-bed teaching hospital that has been recognized as a Fortune/PINC Top Hospital and #1 Teaching Hospital. ICU experience is required for this role.

Position Purpose

The Registered Nurse provides quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. You will integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

The Nursing Resource Pool offers increased flexibility in scheduling while allowing you to float only within Ann Arbor Hospital. You will receive focused orientation and training on equipment, processes, and procedures, which supports manageable patient ratios and positions float pool colleagues as highly valued team members.

Schedule

• Night shift
• Full-time or part-time (benefit eligible)
• 48 or 72 hours per pay period (every two weeks)
• Minimum of 32 hours on weekends within a 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• One year of recent nursing experience working in a hospital with similar patient populations
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, or written agreement to obtain BSN within five years
• Canadian nurses are encouraged to apply
