Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy - St. Vincent Medical Center

Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy department. This is a part-time position offering 24 scheduled hours per week on a days/afternoons shift. You will deliver patient care and teaching through the nursing process, direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel, and assist in providing care to patients of all age groups in the endoscopy setting.

Clinical Setting

St. Vincent Medical Center is a regional tertiary care facility serving a 150-mile radius of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The facility is verified as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, designated as a STEMI Center, and verified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care and teaching through the nursing process
• Direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and established organizational policies and procedures
• Assist in providing care to patients of all age groups
• Perform other job-related duties as required by your supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university
• Current Ohio RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Other certifications as required by department policy
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in nursing theory and practice of the nursing process
• Good oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior nursing experience

Schedule

• Shift: Days/Afternoons
• Hours: 24 per week
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required per department policy
