Registered Nurse, (RN) Emergency Services

Spring View Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This 11-bed unit provides specialized care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes teamwork and effective communication. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while serving as a patient-care innovator.

Clinical Setting

Spring View Hospital is a 75-bed facility in Lebanon, Kentucky, offering a full range of services including pain management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, behavioral health services, wound care, and laboratory services. The Emergency Department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support advanced quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments
• Document patient care provided
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
• Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency

Schedule

Full-time position, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 12 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of emergency nursing experience
