Community Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This part-time position offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting while working with a collaborative healthcare team committed to delivering exceptional care.
Clinical Setting
You will work in the Emergency Department at Community Hospital South, part of Community Health Network, a healthcare system serving the Indianapolis area for over 60 years.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice and the Nurse Practice Act
- Manage patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and delegate responsibilities effectively
- Negotiate and manage resources to support quality patient care
Schedule
- Part-time position
- Three 6-hour shifts per week
- Night shift: 9:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Variable weekend and holiday requirements
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, OR three years of related professional nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Indiana and listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
