Advocate Trinity Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 31-bed Emergency Department in Chicago, IL. This comprehensive, fast-paced unit provides care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. You will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Our Emergency Department is a dynamic environment committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through strong teamwork, clinical excellence, and a collaborative interdisciplinary approach. Advocate Trinity Hospital, part of the Advocate Health Southland Network, has provided residents in southeast Chicago with outstanding clinical outcomes and compassionate care for more than 120 years. The hospital treats more than 90,000 patients each year and provides access to more than 300 physicians with expertise in more than 50 specialties, including advanced heart attack care, primary stroke care center, oncology center, and an array of surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making in patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary team members
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- One year or more of Emergency Department RN experience
