Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) PRN

Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) on a PRN basis. This role supports high-acuity cardiac surgical procedures in a community hospital setting that combines local care with advanced cardiac technology. You will work at the leading edge of cardiac innovation, supporting procedures including BaroStim implants and heart failure therapies, PFO closures and structural heart interventions, and carotid stenting with complex vascular repairs.

Clinical Setting

Havasu Regional Medical Center is a 171-bed community hospital serving Lake Havasu City with nationally ranked cardiology care. The CVOR operates as a high-acuity surgical environment equipped with advanced cardiac technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite with equipment and supplies needed for cardiovascular procedures
• Assess and provide care for patients during cardiovascular procedures
• Document patient care provided during surgery
• Support advanced cardiac surgical interventions including innovative heart failure therapies, structural heart procedures, and complex vascular repairs
• Remain flexible and willing to pick up open shifts as needed

Schedule

• PRN (as needed) position
• 10 or 12 hour shifts
• Monday through Friday availability
• Minimum 2-4 shifts per month required
• On-call requirement once per week

Required Qualifications

• Current Arizona RN license or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school
• Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree
• Operating room nursing experience
