Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). This position offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care in a Level I Adult Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center setting, serving a 150-mile radius of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Clinical Setting
You will work in Car 1 SICU at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, a regional tertiary care facility and faith-based Catholic healthcare ministry. The medical center is verified as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, designated as a STEMI Center, and verified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care and teaching through the nursing process
- Direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel
- Maintain standards of professional nursing and established organizational policies and procedures
- Assist in the provision of care to patients of all age groups
- Perform additional job-related duties as required by your supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Additional certifications as required by department policy

- Prior nursing experience
Schedule
- 36 scheduled weekly hours
- Days/Evenings shift
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required per department policy
