Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Car 1 Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). This position involves delivering patient care and teaching through the nursing process in a Level I Adult Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. You will direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards and organizational policies, and assist in providing care to patients of all age groups.
Clinical Setting
St. Vincent Medical Center is a regional tertiary care facility serving a 150-mile radius of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The facility is verified as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, designated as a STEMI Center, and verified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission. The medical center has partnered with Nationwide Children's Hospital of Columbus to create Nationwide Children's Hospital of Toledo on campus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care and teaching through the nursing process
- Direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel
- Maintain standards of professional nursing and established organizational policies and procedures
- Assist in providing care to patients of all age groups
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Other certifications as required by department policy

- Prior nursing experience
Schedule
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required per department policy
