Atrium Health General Surgery Albemarle is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient general surgery practice. This role provides high-quality, patient-centered care to patients 18 and older in an ambulatory care setting. You will work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, as part of a dedicated team committed to service excellence and clinical expertise.
Clinical Setting
Atrium Health General Surgery Albemarle is an outpatient general surgery practice providing comprehensive surgical services. You will work within the Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte, which operates over 600 locations across a 14-county region offering care in primary care, urgent care, infusion, cardiology, neurosciences, orthopedics, women's health, pediatrics, musculoskeletal care, oncology, behavioral health, virtual care, and various other medical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Advocate for patient needs and uphold professional practice standards
- Assist with in-office procedures
- Triage patient phone calls
- Use clinical decision-making and skilled communication to create a safe patient environment and optimal patient experience
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of RN experience
Schedule
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $35.50 to $53.25 per hour
- Base compensation determined by qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and training
- Premium pay available for shift differentials and on-call duties
