Registered Nurse, RN Adult Medicine Clinic, Per Diem

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Adult Medicine clinic in Chicopee, MA, supporting a large practice with over 20 providers. This per diem position offers flexible weekday scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care in an outpatient primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that positively impact patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats with colleagues, patients, and family members
• Utilize computer-based applications including E-MAR and clinical documentation systems, email, and standard Microsoft Office applications
• Manage orders for home health services and maintain relationships between the office and home health agencies
• Monitor blood pressures and manage patients on Coumadin therapy

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• RN Urgent Care and Triage experience

Schedule

• Per diem shifts on weekdays only

Compensation

• Pay range: $33.10 - $52.90 per hour
• Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
