Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care – Medical Surgery

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver quality patient care in our acute care medical-surgical setting. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs, serving as a key intermediary between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing services to patients in the acute care medical-surgical environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold safety standards
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and development
• Support shared governance activities
• Foster a positive environment for patients and staff

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia or multi-state compact)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire for select units

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• National specialty certification relevant to the practice area
