Registered Nurse (RN) | 36 Hours per Week | Cardiac Care Unit

This position offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a cardiac care setting. You will work in a specialized unit providing care to patients with cardiac and telemetry needs, as well as those requiring stroke care, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring. You will utilize the full nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation—while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide specialized care to adult cardiac and telemetry patients
• Care for patients requiring stroke care, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Interact effectively with patients, their families, and other health care team members
• Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary health care team

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN)
• Valid RN licensure in the State of Iowa
• Current professional licensure, certification, and registration

Preferred Qualifications

• Health care experience within the last five years
• Critical care experience
• Internship in critical care

Compensation and Bonuses

• Minimum hiring wage: $35.79 per hour
