Registered Nurse (RN) - 1:1 Home Care and School Settings

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for private duty 1:1 home care and school settings in Middlesex County, New Jersey. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to individual clients in their homes, building meaningful relationships while delivering high-quality care across diverse patient populations and acuity levels.

Clinical Setting

You will work in private duty home care, traveling to one client home per day on a schedule you choose. BAYADA serves clients ranging from infants to older adults, with acuity levels from low acuity to tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients. Private duty nursing differs from traditional home health visits by offering traditional shifts (4, 8, 10, or 12 hours), hands-on care with only one client per day, and the opportunity to build client relationships and observe their progress over time.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
• Perform nursing skills with autonomy in the home setting

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• Current nursing license in good standing in the state of New Jersey

Schedule and Employment

• Flexible scheduling with no minimums (full-time, part-time, or per diem)
• Traditional shifts available: 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Cases matched to locations nearest you to minimize commute time

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $34 to $39 per hour based on qualifications
• $1,200 nurse referral bonus
