Participate in departmental and organizational programs, committees, and special projects.
  • Improve nursing practice and the work environment through promotion and facilitation of shared governance and decision-making processes.
  • Identify personal and professional development goals and commit to lifelong learning. Maintain current knowledge in nursing practices through continuing education, professional networking, membership in professional organizations, self-study, professional reading, certification, and advanced degrees. Contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
