Registered Nurse PRN

Join Lifespace Communities as a Registered Nurse PRN at The Waterford in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role, you will provide direct nursing services to residents in a senior living community that has earned a "High Performing" rating from U.S. News & World Report.

Clinical Setting

The Waterford is a senior living community serving older adults in a long-term care environment. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team in a setting recognized for outstanding staffing ratios and high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to all residents on assigned neighborhoods or programs
• Oversee and verify physician orders, ensuring accurate transcription into the electronic record system and treatment plan
• Administer medications and provide treatments according to physician orders
• Provide hands-on training and skill set retraining to newly hired team members
• Supervise and provide leadership to clinical and non-clinical team members
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care
• Document resident conditions, nursing needs, and pertinent observations in a timely manner
• Report reactions to medications and treatments
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers while delivering quality customer service
• Plan resident admissions as ordered by physician, perform assessments, verify orders with physician, and notify pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments as necessary
• Provide accurate and thorough shift reports to ensure continuity of resident care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license as required by Florida state regulations
• Any other licensure required by state regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility

• PRN (as-needed) position with flexible schedules offered
