Baystate Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, MA. This role offers flexible, as-needed scheduling with differential pay for weekends and holidays.

Clinical Setting

The Emergency Department is newly constructed with 20 beds, including two critical care bays. The majority of beds are private rooms to enhance patient comfort and privacy. The department is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including an in-department CT scanner and radiology unit. The facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission, designated as a Primary Stroke Service hospital, and recognized by CMS as a model hospital for health promotion and quality of life improvement. The department is supported by the Trauma 1 Center at BMC in Springfield, with access to critical care transports and medical helicopters.

Schedule

  • Per Diem, as needed
  • Differential pay for weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification
  • Diploma in Nursing or higher

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Compensation

Hourly compensation range: $41.82 to $66.30 (minimum to maximum). New hires typically start in the lower part of the range. Actual salary varies based on relevant experience.
