Registered Nurse- Per-Diem, 8 AM - 4 PM, Radiation Oncology, Atlantic Healthe Chilton Medical Center

Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per-diem position in Radiation Oncology, working 8 AM - 4 PM. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment and managing various illnesses, injuries, or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions
• Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments
• Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
• Record patient vital signs and medical information
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN graduates must complete their BSN studies within five years of start date)
• Master's degree in nursing or related field
• One or more years of experience in nursing or relevant area
• ACLS certification
