Registered Nurse Part-time 3-11 Skilled Nursing

Evergreen Woods is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 3-11 shift to deliver person-centered care to residents in our skilled nursing community. This role focuses on resident assessments, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and treatments while preserving resident dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident assessments and record vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility according to individualized care plans
• Maintain timely and accurate written and verbal documentation to ensure quality care
• Interact with residents' physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel as needed
• Participate in required in-service training and education sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 250 pounds independently
• Must use proper body mechanics to assist residents
• Regular long hours and frequent night and weekend work required

Schedule

• Part-time, 3-11 shift

Required Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
• Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Ability to use electronic records and office equipment
• Ability to understand and follow directions with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year college or university degree
• Two years of experience in a similar healthcare position

Travel

• No travel is expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions
