Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Boston Mountain Rural Health Center (BMRHC) is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the clinical team at our new clinic in Quitman, Arkansas. You will provide compassionate primary care alongside healthcare providers, with opportunities to support care coordination and community health initiatives as the clinic grows.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and follow-up services
• Provide nursing care within your RN or LPN scope of practice and BMRHC protocols
• Help patients connect with care, including referrals and follow-up services
• Assist patients with resources such as insurance enrollment, sliding fee applications, payment options, and community programs
• Support behavioral health care coordination by helping patients and families access appropriate services and resources
• Responsibilities will reflect clinic patient needs and evolve as the clinic grows

Clinical Setting

This is a primary care clinic setting serving the Quitman community.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday: 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM to 11:45 AM
• Some travel is required for this position

Required Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in the State of Arkansas
• Current CPR certification
• Attention to detail and excellent patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous nursing experience

Safety-Sensitive Position

This position is designated as safety-sensitive under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment. Employees in safety-sensitive roles must be able to perform duties in a manner that ensures the safety of patients, coworkers, and the public. A positive drug test, including marijuana, will result in ineligibility for hire or removal from the safety-sensitive position.
