Join HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical services environment serving adult, adolescent, geriatric, and pediatric populations. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing excellent patient care in a 157-bed, Level II state-designated trauma facility.
Responsibilities
- Bring specialized OR nursing skills to serve specific age groups as assigned
- Prepare for each procedure and surgery by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment are available in assigned areas
- Assist with post-procedure workload including cleaning rooms between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure
- Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person, delegating tasks in accordance with staff competency levels
- May rotate to areas other than OR and perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum one year of experience in the perioperative (OR) setting
- ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification
Compensation
- Hourly wage estimate: $36.68 - $55.53 per hour
- Actual salary may vary based on specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in the role
