Registered Nurse | Operating Room | Monticello Hospital

CentraCare – Monticello is seeking a Registered Nurse to circulate in the Operating Room and endoscopy suites. In this role, you will plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care for Surgical Services, ensuring continuity of care across shifts. You will circulate surgical cases, admit and discharge endoscopy patients, and maintain quality relationships with other departments and nursing units. All duties will be performed in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Clinical Setting

Monticello Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a Birthing Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU. The facility also includes a 10-bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit and extensive outpatient services including a Level IV Emergency Department, Heart Care, Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Diabetes & Nutrition Education, Integrated Behavioral Health, Vascular Care, and Wound Care. Full imaging, laboratory services, and respiratory therapy are available on-site.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases in the operating room and endoscopy suites
• Admit and discharge endoscopy patients
• Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care for Surgical Services
• Ensure continuity of care across shifts
• Maintain quality relationships with other departments and nursing units
• Participate in education, record maintenance, and updating of policies, procedures, and skills

Schedule

This is a part-time position requiring 48 hours in a two-week pay period. You will work variable days Monday through Friday with variable start and end times. The role includes rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call shifts with off-premise call requiring a 30-minute response time.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Current Minnesota RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on experience and degree:

• Associate's in nursing: starting at $41.32 per hour
• Bachelor's in nursing: starting at $42.56 per hour
• Master's in nursing: starting at $43.84 per hour
• Pay range: $41.32 - $68.11 per hour
