Registered Nurse Operating Room Main

Join HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room Main. As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be part of an interdisciplinary surgical services team, contributing to safe, high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma Center with 284 licensed beds. You will serve specific age groups including adult, adolescent, geriatric, and pediatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each procedure and surgery by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment are available in assigned areas
• Assist with post-procedure workload including cleaning rooms between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure
• Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person, delegating duties in accordance with staff competency levels
• May rotate to areas other than OR and will perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• One year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting
• ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification

Compensation

Hourly wage estimate: $36.68 - $55.53 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical wage range of candidates hired. Factors that may determine your actual salary include your specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.
