Registered Nurse Operating Room II, Pool - Trails Edge Surgery Center

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room II Pool position at Trails Edge Surgery Center. This is a perioperative nursing role in an ambulatory surgical center setting where you will provide direct patient care throughout the surgical episode.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care
• Develop individualized perioperative patient plans of care
• Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current certification (required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services)

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing

Compensation

• Minimum: $28.94/hour
• Maximum: $45.00/hour
