Indiana University Health is hiring Registered Nurses for the Operating Room at Fort Wayne Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a surgical setting, collaborating with experienced medical professionals and a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care.
As a Clinical Nurse in this role, you will be accountable for the provision and coordination of competent care along the care continuum, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. You will adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements, as well as reflect the mission, vision, and values of Indiana University Health.

Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience; such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Compensation and Incentives
- $30,000 sign-on bonus available for part-time and full-time roles
- Increased pay scale for bedside nurses
