Registered Nurse -Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR) Circulator for a 13-week contract position in Arcata, California. In this role, you will provide perioperative nursing care and perform circulating responsibilities to support safe and efficient surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Perform Operating Room circulating duties and support safe, efficient surgical procedures
• Assess patients and provide appropriate perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention standards, and proper surgical documentation
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of care throughout the perioperative experience

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room or circulating Registered Nurse experience
• Current, active California Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• TB clearance completed within the previous 12 months
• Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts and participate in a shared on-call rotation

• Monday through Friday day shifts
• Shared on-call rotation participation required

Compensation

• Contract position: 13 weeks
• Pay rate: $2,100 to $2,398 per week
