Licenses

This on-call Registered Nurse position serves individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in a community-based or residential setting. You will provide person-centered nursing care with small, manageable caseloads while coordinating medical care, appointments, and follow-up for the individuals you support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered nursing care with small, manageable caseloads
  • Coordinate medical care, appointments, and follow-up for individuals with I/DD
  • Oversee medication administration and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Advocate for people supported within healthcare and clinical settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
  • Support and educate staff on health, safety, and medical best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Valid New York State driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in I/DD, residential, or community-based nursing
  • Associate degree or higher
