Registered Nurse North area Home Health

AlfaBEST Home Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time home health care work in the North area, serving the Denver, Elbert, Arapahoe, Adams, Douglas, Jefferson, Gilpin, El Paso, Boulder, Larimer, Clear Creek, and Weld regions. This role offers flexible scheduling with compensation of $60 to $75 per visit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in clients' homes
• Perform accurate OASIS collection
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and skilled nursing procedures as prescribed
• Monitor and evaluate clients' health, document changes, and report to physicians or supervisors
• Educate clients and families on managing medical conditions, medications, and preventive health practices
• Collaborate with caregivers, home health aides, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Provide support to clients and families, respecting cultural, spiritual, and personal values
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and agency standards
• Respond promptly to client emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
• Promote a safe home environment by teaching fall prevention, infection control, and other safety practices

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience
• Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage care in a non-clinical setting
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current car insurance

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted

Preferred Experience

• Home care or community nursing experience
