  • Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure

Mercy Heart & Vascular Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiopulmonary department to provide direct patient care in non-invasive cardiology. This is a PRN (as-needed) position working day hours and weekends on an on-site basis.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care to assigned patients
  • Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure in the state where nursing duties are performed
  • Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
  • No prior nursing experience required
