Kentfield Hospital, a 60-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) with locations in Marin County and San Francisco, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift at our San Francisco facility. This full-time position provides direct patient care and clinical leadership for individuals with critical or chronic complex medical conditions requiring extended recovery periods.
You will develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized plans of care for assigned patients and families. The role includes direct nursing care, delegation and supervision of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides, and Techs. You will work in a charge nurse capacity as assigned based on patient and hospital need.

Kentfield Hospital specializes in cardiac care, neuro recovery, respiratory support, advanced wound care, and physical/occupational therapy. The facility holds The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Hospital Accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise plans of care for assigned patients and families
- Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing staff
- Identify and implement components of the nursing process
- Identify learning needs and teach patients and families
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Apply professional standards of practice in clinical situations
- Work in a charge nurse capacity as assigned
- Demonstrate clinical competence and develop clinical expertise in specialty areas
- Manage quality of care and establish professional relationships
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid, and active Registered Nurse license in California
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous acute care experience
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills
