Registered Nurse, NICU, Full-time Days, Clarksville

Vanderbilt Health's Neo-Natal ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill newborns. As a NICU nurse, you will plan, organize, and administer patient care within your scope of practice, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.

Clinical Setting

You will work in the Neo-Natal ICU at Vanderbilt Health, part of the region's largest comprehensive academic health system with eight hospitals and over 180 clinics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum
• Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnoses
• Continually utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations
• Provide patient education
• Develop and implement care plans
• Recognize and address clinical problems, ask appropriate questions, and contact the patient's primary care provider when needed

Schedule

• Full-time position (36 hours per week)
• Days shift: 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
