We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our long-term care and rehabilitation facility to join our newly building nursing team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment where your clinical contributions are valued and recognized.
Clinical Setting
You will work in a long-term care and rehabilitation facility serving adult and geriatric residents with diverse clinical needs.
Schedule
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents while maintaining standards of nursing practice within the facility
- Address the physical, psychosocial, and rehabilitative needs of residents
- Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific developmental factors relevant to adult and geriatric populations in planning and delivering care
- Provide specialized nursing care for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs as applicable
- Ensure resident safety and well-being in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with the Shift Supervisor, Head Nurse, Resident Care Coordinator, and interdisciplinary team
- Adjust to changes in unit and shift assignments to meet resident and facility needs
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
- Attend all mandatory in-service training by your employment anniversary date
Required Qualifications
- Current active Registered Nurse license in the State of New York
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing
- Previous long-term care experience required
- Successful completion of facility-conducted orientation and mandatory training programs
- Meet health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test
- Listed in good standing with the New York State Department of Professional Credentialing
- Excellent technical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
Preferred Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license required
- Compliance with New York State license renewal requirements
