Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) - Telemetry

Westover Hills Baptist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse New Graduate to join our telemetry unit. In this role, you will provide nursing care for a group of patients assigned based on matching patient needs with your clinical competencies. You will work under minimal supervision while completing established competencies for the position during your introductory period.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Clinical Setting

You will work on our telemetry unit, part of a comprehensive Baptist Health System that includes six full-service hospitals, a specialized children's hospital, comprehensive cancer care network, and various other healthcare services across the region.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA) on hire; must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA ACLS certification must be completed within 60 days of hire (should be completed before the end of the orientation period)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Two years of acute care experience
• Previous clinical nursing experience in medical/surgical, telemetry, or ICU settings
