The opportunity

Job Description

This position provides nursing care for telemetry patients under minimal supervision, matching patient needs with nurse competencies. You will complete established competencies for the position during a designated introductory period. This role may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire (ARC or AHA); must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS certification must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (should be completed before the end of the orientation period)

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing
  • Two years of acute care experience
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in medical/surgical, telemetry, or ICU settings
