The opportunity

Job Description

This position provides nursing care for telemetry patients under minimal supervision. As a new graduate RN, you will be assigned a group of patients matched to your competencies and will complete established competencies for the position during your introductory period. This role may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification on hire (ARC or AHA); must transition to AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into the department

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Two years of acute care experience
