Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) - Rehab

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate registered nurse to begin your nursing career in a rehabilitation setting. You will provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, with your responsibilities matched to both patient needs and your developing competencies. During your introductory period, you will complete all established competencies required for this position while working under minimal supervision.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in the rehabilitation setting
• Match patient care needs with your nursing competencies
• Complete all established position competencies during the introductory period
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification on hire (ARC or AHA); must transition to AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Two years of acute care experience
