The opportunity

Job Description

Join North Central Baptist Hospitals as a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role, you will provide nursing care for a group of patients assigned based on matching patient needs with your clinical competencies. You will work under minimal supervision and complete established competencies for the position during your introductory period.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Nurse Permit
  • Proficient in use of computer software, including electronic patient records
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA) on hire; must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
  • ACLS/TNCC, PALS/ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certifications as required by department, with applicable grace periods
