Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) - PCU

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate registered nurse to begin your nursing career in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. You will provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, matching patient needs with your clinical competencies under minimal supervision. This role includes a structured introductory period during which you will complete all established competencies for the position.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in the PCU
• Match patient care needs with your nursing competencies
• Complete all established position competencies during the introductory period
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Nurse Permit
• Proficiency with computer software, including electronic patient records
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire (ARC or AHA); must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• Department-specific certifications as applicable, which may include ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (see applicable Staff RN job description for specific requirements and grace periods)
