Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) - Operating Room

Baptist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse New Graduate for the Operating Room. Under minimal supervision, you will provide professional nursing care for patients of varying ages, supporting the mission, policies, and procedures of Baptist Health System. You will complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or currently eligible for state board certification
• BLS certification obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training Network
• ACLS certification required for all areas in Surgery Services, must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit
• PALS certification required for Post Anesthesia, must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship or training course
• CNOR Board eligible or certified (Surgery)
• CPAN Board eligible or certified (Post Anesthesia)
• SGNA Board eligible or certified (GI Lab)
