Join Northeast Baptist Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Neuro unit, where you'll provide compassionate nursing care to patients assigned based on their clinical needs and your competencies. This position is designed for new graduates and nurses early in their careers, offering comprehensive support during your introductory period as you develop the clinical skills needed for this specialty.
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for an assigned group of patients
- Match patient needs with appropriate nursing interventions based on your competencies
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire (ARC or AHA); must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
- AHA ACLS certification must be completed within 60 days of hire (should be completed before the end of the orientation period)

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Two years of acute care experience
- Previous clinical nursing experience in medical/surgical, telemetry, or ICU settings
