Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) - Neuro

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate registered nurse to begin your nursing career in a neuro specialty setting. You will provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, matching their clinical needs with your developing competencies. During your introductory period, you will complete all established competencies required for the position while working under minimal supervision.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for an assigned group of patients
• Match patient needs with nursing competencies
• Complete established position competencies during the introductory period
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire (ARC or AHA); must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA ACLS certification must be completed within 60 days of hire (should be completed before the end of the orientation period)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Two years of acute care experience
• Previous clinical nursing experience in medical/surgical, telemetry, or ICU settings
