  • Two years of acute care experience
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU
The opportunity

Job Description

This position provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned based on matching patient needs with nurse competencies. You will complete established competencies for the neuro specialty within a designated introductory period. This role may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA) on hire; must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire (should be completed before the end of the orientation period)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Two years of acute care experience
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in medical/surgical, telemetry, or ICU settings
