Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) - Med Surg

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse New Graduate for our Medical-Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide nursing care for an assigned group of patients, matching patient needs with your clinical competencies. You will work under minimal supervision while completing established competencies for the position during your introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
• Match patient care needs with your nursing competencies
• Complete established position competencies within the designated introductory period
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification (ARC or AHA) at time of hire; must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Two years of acute care experience
